American Gangster is on Netflix & I’d be lying if I didn’t say I watched it this in parts while doing things around the house. I actually do kinda consider this an all-time great gangster film. Denzel & Crowe are just that good. I think people were too critical of this in ‘07.

You really have to be prepared to not give a damn about anything. Be willing to part with anything keeping you tethered to a life you've outgrown, including family & loved ones. Otherwise you'll collapse and fold as soon as it gets heavy. And it will get heavy. Guaranteed.
