Instead of guessing and making stuff up can we just ask @elonmusk why the people riding up front in the Robotaxi had their fingers on the door button? What was it programmed to do? Was it the emergency stop button? Was it a snapshot button to transmit data? Does it behave any differently than pressing the button if any normal person did it in their Tesla on FSD?

Today in 1979, American 191 crashed in Chicago and killed 273 people. This crash is a perfect example of how multiple causal events led to a catastrophe. I studied this crash extensively in college and here’s what caused it to crash. -Maintenance crews were in the middle of an engine change when shift change occurred. -They were using an unapproved method which involved the use of a forklift -during shift change, the forklift lost pressure and dropped more than a foot -the engine was still able to be installed even though it was lower and that caused stress cracks in the engine mount -Upon takeoff the engine detached causing the aircraft to roll and crash into the ground.

Yall remember in middle school when the gym teacher would make us bend over in the locker room and he would check for us for scoliosis? What was the point of that? Really random. Out of all things.

Here is a brand new Escalade IQ with an $8600 discount. Would you buy this 7 passenger full size SUV with 460 miles of range for this price?

@SawyerMerritt No rear display, and no air suspension! This one looks like a barebones truck. Anyone want to take bets on the automatic tonneau cover?

BREAKING: Tesla has unveiled a new Long Range RWD Cybertruck variant with 350 miles of range on their Middle East websites. The truck is 517 lbs lighter than the AWD & we can also see new 18" wheel covers. Specs: • Range: 563km (350 miles) • Towing capacity: 3,402 kg (7,500 lbs) • Weight: 2,775 kg or 6,117 lbs (vs 6,634 for AWD) • Ground clearance: 243mm or 9.5" (vs 16" for AWD) • 0-100km/h: 6.6s • Top speed: 111 MPH It appears the RWD trim has no air suspension based on the much lower ground clearance. Also, the range numbers on the Middle East websites on the Cybertruck AWD and Cyberbeast trims match exactly to what the EPA range is in the US, so it appears the EPA range on the RWD will be 350 miles whenever it launches in the US.

@jeremyjudkins_ Wonder how a manual tonneau cover would work since the side of the truck is angled you can’t just slide it up like a normal truck

It appears a long range RWD Tesla Cybertruck is launching in the Middle East. It is lighter, has more range, likely no air suspension and lower ground clearance. I suspect a lot of features will be cut, perhaps the tonneau cover will not be powered. No air suspension means some features like off road mode and wade mode would be limited or non existent. If this comes to the US I expect the price to be $59,990. The $80,000 AWD Cybertruck with $7,500 tax credit still seems like a good deal to me.

Spotted this and had no idea what it was. Turns out it’s something called an Ineos Grenadier. Looks pretty cool.
