@KaikiSubs8939 AFAIK there's no real complete set out there because a couple of episodes are lost and they won't rebroadcast some episodes due to various rights issues.

@TheRealShougo Is there any way to watch all of the original unedited? Seems only portions of it and the English dub are uploaded online.

5/2/86 -- The premiere of one of my favorite shows, the instant classic Takeshi's Castle. An inventive mix of game and variety show, it's like a video game brought to life, filled with top talents of Japanese comedy. The show is pure joy. Eieiou! #たけし城

Thinking of when Masahiro Inoue let it slip (before the show started) that Decade was only going to run half a year and nobody believed him, the star of the show.

@CCLemon99 You're probably right. Remember that Gokaiger monster that was all 35 foot soldiers shoved together? I imagine that's the type of thing AI would churn out.

@corpu19921 I thought Wanda went out with a cool fight. Hirose was at least an action guy, so maybe he was able to have fun with Yamaoka's intense direction.

@TheRealShougo Fair point. It sucks for Soda-san to be overworked by Toei in 1990. Besides, do you think Hirose-san got out with a proper bang in Flashman during "Wanda! Death Cry" & suffered Yamaoka Junji's intense choreography?

You can easily spot Hideaki Kusaka doubling for Garoa in the fight scenes in episode 15. It probably would have been better if Kusaka played the role -- maybe the character wouldn't have become a joke.

@corpu19921 It's hard to say. The show wants to be more kid friendly; I think it needs more heart and whimsy, but another way to appeal to kids would be to make it funnier. They would have to have gotten someone Suzuki hadn't worked with and I can't picture him doing that at that time.

@TheRealShougo Who do you think should be the main writer of Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman? The Japanese toxic work culture could've played a key role into Soda-san's burnout in 1990 as I speculated.
