@ctdonath @TheStingisBack AFAIK he thinks making films from Comics isn’t a good idea, especially his as he wrote them to work in that medium. Just because they look like a story board doesn’t mean they’d work in film. Snyder’s adapts comics better than any, but sometimes is a good example of that

@TheStingisBack Moore is mad at movies of his work in general, after early ones deviated greatly & badly. He had a vision and executed it as he saw fit; movies don’t. As near perfect as Watchmen is, changes were made undoing what he did the way he did for reasons. Ending was significant change.

Watchmen was released OTD in 2009. Alan Moore's seminal graphic novel was given the Zack Snyder treatment. The jury still can't decide whether this is an artistic masterpiece or a bloated disaster. Some even believe it shouldn't have been made at all, Moore being one of them.
