Seems like most of our “high ranked” recruits have been very disappointing now for quite a number of years (way before red became HC). Developing them is part of the equation but many seem simply overrated out of HS

And the same coaching tree isn’t going to accomplish that. Especially when we aren’t getting 1st round nba talent any longer.

One who spent less time as an assistant than some of these other guys and is probably going to win National Coach of the Year

The Chicago Bears spent the last 35 years chasing a gritty defensive minded team because that’s “what the bears”. Just had their best season in decades with a new offensive mindset
