@Mustangnut03 @EricD9898 @PPistone 99% of the people in attendance at a Sunday night football game probably live within the general area of the team’s stadium. The rest travel back on Monday as well. There is also only 1 game vs 2-4 races over the weekend.

I get the TV broadcast metric about later Sunday starts and potential higher ratings - but there’s also logic, reason and goodwill with the fan base and the industry for consideration - the positive reaction today to a 1 ET start time should make media partners take notice

@jeff_gluck Last year while waiting in line to meet Richard Petty at the KP chariry ride stop, I told my daughter (who was 5) he was Strip Weathers from Cars. She then got too scared to be in the picture with him. Also asked me if people were in the cars in the movie making them talk.

@dailydownforce If he were to move on, he would be a better fit for the 2nd car at RCR (whichever number they decide for next season). I like Hill but I don’t know why we haven’t seen a big stand out race for him when he drives a cup car. Maybe it’s his part time (now FT) schedule. Idk..

What I’d ultimately like to see:
-30 race #NASCAR Cup Series schedule
-No races less than 400 miles on 1+ mile ovals
-Crown Jewels have to be run to advertised distance
-No more Stage cautions
-No overtime if leader had more than a 2-second lead at time of caution

Do #NASCAR Cup Series races need to be shorter? NO. Instead of talking about cutting length from races, we should be talking about cutting races from the excessively long season schedule.

@bobpockrass @NASCARONFOX You want short races, then put them mid week. Use tracks close to Charlotte so the teams don’t need huge travel plans. When the weekend race is close, add a few mid week races in the summer. Ditch the clash/allstar, have 38 races with some off weekends as well
