WRONG. Southern Dems like Byrd (KKK, Senate leader till 2010) and Wallace stayed Democrats decades post-1964. The South shifted gradually on economics/crime/abortion, not racist recruitment. Black voters moved to Dems pre-1964 for social welfare programs. We see the Dems doing this now for illegal migrants…offering them free everything. Since 2020, roughly 2M voters and dozens of politicians switched Dem to Republican. Modern Dem policies harm Black communities. History: evolution, not sticker swap.

161 years ago, Republican President Abraham Lincoln and a Republican Congress freed the slaves from the Democrat Party that fought tooth and nail to keep them in chains. Democrats started the Civil War to preserve slavery. Democrats founded the KKK. Democrats passed Jim Crow laws. Democrats filibustered the Civil Rights Act. Today if you are celebrating Juneteenth, don’t forget to thank Republicans!

You might not like the war, Mike, but at least in theory war is a legitimate part of the operation of the federal government. All the redistribution you want to do is unconstitutional. That said, I know that nobody cares about the constitution anymore though some pretend when it suits them.
