To Look Back on Chainsaw Man fondly makes sense. Its was Fire. Punch away any thoughts that Fujimoto is not a generational talent. Even the anime intro is good. Just Listen to the Song and you'll see that. Goodbye Eri.

@hatsu3425 And i mean the design of chainsaw man is basically built like a gimmicky comic book super hero. And also could represent the chained cycle that is the hero’s journey.

Alright, time to share my interpretation of CSM as a whole now that its over This’ll be long but i havent seen anyone else interpret it this way so here we go

@StarkyTheSald @epppyyy And we live a world where a lot of people see taking help as a sign of weakness or just being a failure. But it’s often the help from the connections we have that lead to our greatest strengths as humans.

@StarkyTheSald @epppyyy I think the idea of having to earn the good ending is the exact reason the world got so bad in the first place. They all chased their dreams thinking that earning them will bring peace, but they were too blind to see the ditch they dug themselves. Getting help is not a bad thing.

@ryloken68 I feel like potchita has to be the hero devil. Because he often appears when asked for saving and I feel in a meta way this story ends by breaking the loop of the hero journey chainsaw man found himself stuck in. Hence why the ending didn’t have traditional development.

My final thoughts on Chainsaw Man’s ending(this will be kinda long) While I completely understand why people won’t like the ending, albeit because of character development, handling of certain topics, etc, in my opinion, I don’t think CSM was ever meant to be a story about someone overcoming their trauma. To me it feels more and more like a cautionary tale, and because of that, I cant find myself not liking the ending. Part 1 was about Denji wanting the bare minimum and not wanting to think for himself, and how it led to him being taken advantage of. Part 2 was about him wanting everything and how his desire to be Chainsaw Man ruined his life. Both parts feel like 2 opposite ends of an extreme Yeah “themes and such” and all that shit, but personally I don’t care. CSM’s ending feels more like a moral than anything to me. That sometimes it’s better to leave your wild crazy dreams, as just that. Dreams. That there’s always going to be moments of suffering in life. Those two themes in mind, I feel like what Fujimoto is trying to say, is to value what you already have, and never take it for granted, even something as small as eating toast in the morning. You never know when life will go tits up Despite the issues with part 2, I still think it’s necessary as it provides so much more meaning for part 1. Denji’s conversation with Kobeni thanks to part 2, I feel is even better now, and Denji saying he wants to be Chainsaw Man, is now an early warning sign for his eventual pitfall in part 2. Part 2 and it’s ending in my opinion, reinforces the established themes of part 1, and because of that, I can’t find myself hating the ending My adoration for this series is even greater now, despite its obvious flaws. I love Chainsaw Man, and I’m so glad Fujimoto brought this story to life

Roblox appears to be testing a new death animation. Instead of the classic 'falling apart' death, players will now ragdoll when they die. This feature is currently only available in Roblox Studio.
