💢 BREAKING: US strikes three bridges, railway and airport in southern Iran in overnight attacks in civilian infrastructure The United States struck at least three bridges, a railway junction, an airport, and a telecommunications tower across southern Iran on Thursday night, part of a widening bombing campaign targeting the country’s transport and coastal infrastructure, according to regional military monitoring channels on Telegram. The reports have not been independently verified. 🔹 Bandar Khamir bridge: U.S. missiles hit an overpass on the route connecting Bandar Abbas to Lar, a city about 200 miles inland, with cars on it at the time, killing at least one person and wounding several. Bandar Khamir is a small port town on Iran’s southern Gulf coast, near Qeshm Island. 🔹 A third bridge, which the monitoring channels named as Gariveh, was struck in southern Iran, killing at least one person and wounding several. Bridges are vital for moving people, fuel, and supplies across Iran’s mountainous south. 🔹 Bandar Abbas railway: A strike hit the junction west of the city where the line connects to Iran’s Shahid Rajaei port, its largest container hub on the Strait of Hormuz, wounding two. 🔹 Bandar Abbas telecom tower: Precision-guided missiles from fighter jets struck a communications tower, damaging nearby homes and causing civilian casualties. 🔹 Iranshahr airport: Missiles hit the civilian airport in Iranshahr, a city in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan near the Pakistani border. 🔸Explosions were also reported across other southern and southwestern sites, including Qeshm Island and Sirik near the Strait of Hormuz, Bushehr, and, farther west in oil-rich Khuzestan province, Ahvaz, Behbahan, Hamidiyeh, Susangerd, and the Karoun area. 🔸The attacks follow President Trump’s threat, made Tuesday, to begin destroying Iran’s civilian infrastructure. “We’re going to knock out all their power plants. We’re going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate,” he told Fox News. 🔸Iranian officials have repeatedly rejected the ultimatum, with parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf saying the strait “will only open with Iranian arrangements, not American threats.” The deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure is a war crime under international law. 🎥 A car lies beneath a bridge struck in Bandar Abbas after apparently falling through the damaged structure.
