When you’re breastfeeding a little bit of milk drips into your bra, after only half a day you smell like sour milk. You can’t tell because you’re use to it, but other people can smell it, especially in tight quarters and rotten milk is particularly off putting. Wearing a pad in your bra and changing it out every few hours along with daily bathing takes care of this odour. Also change the baby’s clothes at least once a day and take a warm wash cloth and some soap to the baby’s face, neck folds and behind the ears at least once per day. I’m genuinely not trying to be offensive nor am I telling anyone they must heed my advice, you’re free to prioritise whatever you wish in your life. As I said, I wish I had a granny tell me this, and other things like this, when I was young.
