This is it folks! subs are working! This means the game is fully functional on the browser with ALL core functionality working: Subs WORKING -> libass, HarfBuzz, and FriBidi for Emscripten, rewired the engine's threaded subtitle pipeline to run synchronously in the browser, and patched the video decoder to blend subtitles onto frames in real-time MPEG-2 overlay videos (.m2v) with alpha masking render correctly this is it. you can play the game from start to end, saves working, config working, (some settings are buggy). Now i will work on on the fly asset delivery optimisation (WebM, Webp, Opus, etc..) and touch controls. Thank you for the positive feedback on this project. When i started it, I thought it was impossible, re-wiring a 30k line of code c++ codebase that started 20 years ago and getting it to compile to webassembly into the browser? but I did it. thank you

@FeatherineFAA Great project! I love seeing this slowly come together! Stupid Question, but just to understand, what's the point of playing the game over a website if I need the files for it anyway? Or it it just to see if you can make it happen at all?

@VioletLeVile You got some great comments already. Wow. I also want to suggest something: Unika's weapon from Guilty gear. It's a Sword + Railgun + Bike, and it somehow works! If that's too sci-fi, I wanna suggest the Urumi instead. It's an irl sword whip. I thiiink you didn't do that already?

Day 10: Sword that chews flesh. Chainsword was a fun idea but too bad work cut it short. Would have done more. I'm still taking suggestions, just working through em.

@VioletLeVile There's some sort of grappling-hook-line to it? Don't get me wrong, I love the kinsects, but that line just seems way cooler.

Day 9: (Insect) Glaive. Even creatures doe not seem to take her. Don't worry, she'll make do. Time is catching up. Late for work yay.

@VioletLeVile I approve of Kulu Ya-Ku beatdown. I know it's a silly opinion but it's my most hated monster.

Day 8: Playing music with a thwack. How I would picture a hunting horn dishing out debuffs. Hunting horns were suggested last year too, so sorry it took this long.

@VioletLeVile You can't just keep reinventing cool ways to use the weapons to move around!!! I'll never be able to look at the weapons the same again!

Day 7: Another boomstick. Gunlance as requested. Didn't get to doodle as much as I'd like due to work this time. Still had fun being silly with it.

@VioletLeVile We do need Savage unicicling NOW. I didn't think the weapon could be any cooler. I was obviously so wrong. Brilliant.

Day 4: Glorified Saw. Charge Blade pt 2. Doodled some silly idea too I guess.
