I watched the leaked TADC finale and. It was really sweet? Like I don't really get the problem with the finale here I thought it was a pretty good sendoff to the show with the way people were talking about it I expected a Stranger Things finale type of disaster. 😭😭

Okay, time for the headcanon: abstraction (kaufmo, for example) can be reversed, but it requires a lot of time and effort, just like overcoming trauma through treatment. It's not quick, it's not easy, it's slow and very difficult. I'd say it's a bit delusional.

I have a theory about TADC. What if the series finales are alternate? Version A is shown in theaters and version B is on YouTube. Those who go to the cinema will get version A, and the rest will get version B. It's just a theory.

Spoiler Free TADC leak info: 1. It is definitely real. It is marked with authentic production information marking it as being used for Portuguese language localization and has the real Portuguese VAs. 2. The ending doesn't "suck" it is just that all of the clips have been cut up out of context for the purpose of proving it is real for potential buyers of the full release. Nobody watching the leaks can understand the language nor do they see the full context. 3. SOMA theory is real. Not a spoiler, just something completely fucking obvious that everyone who wasn't invested in Tron theory could have figured out had they used their brains first and it is confirmed 2 minutes in. 4. This in no way will harm my enthusiasm for watching the full release in English, it only hypes me more. TBH my extremely basic ability to understand Portuguese means I did not pick up on a single fucking plot point other than Kinger referencing the mind files and Jax being a dick. Both are things I already knew.

I was there for Homestuck. I was there in the Tumblr days of Seven Universe and Gravity Falls. I was there for the formative years of online fandoms all across the internet. The TADC fandom is one of the most unruly, childish fandoms I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Instead of being happy that a small indie studio get's a chance at a theatrical release, y'all want to boycott it because you want it to "stay niche" and don't want the medium to mature and grow, and push bigger studios like Disney and Pixar out of the spotlight for once. Despite what it might seem like on the internet, Glitch is small peanuts compared to those giants. The rest of the world outside of the internet bubble has NO IDEA what TADC even is, so these theatres need to be convinced that showing it will be worth it for them. On top of that, despite GLITCH being an Australian company; TADC is an American production. Of COURSE they're going to focus on where the show originated and where it's most popular for their initial theatrical release; but if you want to see it closer to you, YOU NEED TO REACH OUT AND ASK FOR IT. GLITCH can't do it all, THEY'RE INDIE. IT'S US. WE'RE THE DISTRIBUTORS. It's just like Iron Lung all over again, but GLITCH is getting shit on instead of supported like Iron Lung was. I grew up in a time where I had to dodge spoilers for limited releases, and I managed to do it. Avoiding spoilers is surprisingly easy, you're just too entitled. We should absolutely be supporting an indie studio when they make moves like this. It's unheard of for something like this to be happening, and these projects are backed by real people with real passions. GLITCH doesn't make their money from YouTube views, they make it on merch and MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, they'll make a LITTLE revenue from these movie releases, but we have to support them if we want to see more projects like Iron Lung and TADC moving into the big screens.
