I broke Shane's model. He has a nifty tour-deforce model recently updated to account for a 24 hour sun in the Antartica winter. But as I suspected, he had to break everything else to get that to work. @ken_caudle
In the video below, he decides to put a hole in the middle of the sunshine over the rest of the earth, but as you can see from this capture, none of the sunrise/sunsets for the rest of the world match up.
And I never new the FE's thought the "dome" floated across the surface like this! @reified_axioms
Look at the times in the lower right and see when it is night over the rest of the world. The timer is set to Eastern Time US. I did not know the sun set at midnight here. @alexboge
