“Introduce yourself” isn’t an audiobook. after interviewing 70+ candidates, here’s what most get wrong when I say “introduce yourself” most candidates list every role they’ve worked, 100 different types at once. reality check: as an ops manager, I don’t need your entire career history. I care about what benefits the org. here’s what to do: ⋄ pick 3 relevant roles which taught you skills for this position ⋄ show how your experience makes you a strong fit ⋄ intro in a way you stand out keep it under 30 seconds. Long intros lose attention. even if your background is completely different, frame it in a way that makes sense for the role.
