During WWI, women of The Salvation Army served soldiers on the frontlines—cooking over campfires, offering comfort, and bringing a taste of home. Known as the “Doughnut Lassies,” they lifted spirits in the midst of war. This #WomensHistoryMonth, we honor their impact.
