@LaurenMilberger I honestly thought we had lost the technology to create thematically rich family movies, but apparently The Sheep Detectives has found it.

I was so shocked when people mocked the trailer. it looked like that movie you’d be obsessed with when you were eight and then held up when you were an adult.Glad fun and whimsy are still popular at the box office.

@LostinChrome @FilmUpdates Yeah it’s definitely intricate and dances that line well. The black comedy schtick of it was the most questionable part given the subject matter. Sometimes jokes felt a bit too…lackadaisical in that they almost forget what exactly they’re poking fun at.

@TheDailyHPotter Love the wooden theme for the new one. Obviously hard to find a way to differentiate from the old (and the books which it’s based off of, speaking of logos), but the wooden theme sparks new life. And the subtle wand connecting the T’s!

#ProjectHailMary is the best pure sci-fi movie we’ve gotten in quite a while. It’s refreshing to see a movie that has so much charm and fun without dumbing down or holding your hand through the science. Gosling is as awesome as ever & the core friendship of the film is top tier.
