Since 2000, UNCW has only finished worse than 4th in the CAA regular season one time. They may do it again once today ends. Of course they still won the conference tournament that year (2006).

Final day of the regular season update. With Charleston leading William & Mary 6-2 in the 4th, appears the Cougs are going to wrap up No. 2 in the south. Then, it'll be UNCW (124) and Hofstra (144) getting the Nos. 5 and 6 seeds thanks to RPI.

Updated standings and RPI headed into today's games. Charleston now in a tie for 2nd in the South, but actually dropped in the RPI despite winning. Seahawks own the tiebreaker. Hofstra was the big winner of Thursday night, creating some RPI separation with Stony Brook.
