Because perception is relative, emergent, and a result of a point of attention interacting with a raw “fluid” of creation. The photon is a result of perceiving a 5D toroid within 4D.

HOW DOES A PHOTON KNOW IT'S BEING OBSERVED? The "Grounded Rationalist" would say that the photons wave function collapses into a particle upon being measured by a tool, not by a conscious observer, they would say consciousness has nothing to do with it, only the act of measurement. I would say: The entire concept of measurement is, in of itself, inescapably derived from consciousness, the idea of measuring anything comes from consciousness, the development of methods to measure comes from consciousness, the creation of measuring tools in order to measure comes from consciousness, therefore consciousness collapses the wave function because consciousness created the concept of measurement, the methods of measurement and the actions of measuring.
