@mitchlafon So maybe this applies... Much of the Country music I listened to in the 2000s like Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Montgomery Gentry, Gretchen Wilson, Gary Allan, ect. I rarely listen to. Its not bad, I still like it, just no desire to listen to them anymore.

There’s a band I’ve loved for over 25 years, I pulled out their playlist that I made… And I quite literally hated every minute of it and stopped halfway through That was a very odd experience. Has something like that ever happened to any of you? Where you just suddenly don’t like a band for no apparent reason.

Ania Magliano & Paddy Young were very good. Not sure it needed 2 hosts but I guess thats needed to measure up to the amazing hosts of the OG SNL WU over the years. Don't think theyve found their Norm MacDonald, Dennis Miller, Kevin Nealon or Jane Curtin yet! But will get there!

I haven't watched OG SNL in probably decades. Just hasn't appealed to me. When SNL UK was announced I was excited! I Love British humor & tv. 1st episode was 🔥! They nailed it! Wet Leg killed it as first ever musical guest! Tina Fey absolutely amazing host! SNL UK is here!

@mitchlafon @BBGreatMoments Amen! Then I'd work to make the MLB.TV app cheaper and work to allow markets without teams like Vegas access to ALL the teams or closest ones around them. For Vegas it would be DBacks, Padres, Angels & Dodgers (until the A's come to town).

@mitchlafon Not for me. I don't stream music. I listen to vinyl at home, CD's in the car and the radio. I don't have Spotify, Pandora or Sirius XM. Old school I guess

Has streaming ruined music?

@sknutson0816 @mitchlafon Actually thats not true. You cant listen to anything you want cause not all music is available to stream. Theres still a lot of albums/EPs/singles that are not available on any streaming platform. So if you have the physical product, vinyl/cd/cassette you can still listen to it!

@mitchlafon I havnt bought or listened to a CD in years. I can listed to anything I want at anytime. Worth $10 a month to me

@mitchlafon @shaketheboots People rarely have that kind of experience with music nowadays. Streaming has definitely helped to kill that experience but its also a combo of other things killing music as well.

@shaketheboots Exactly… There’s something unique in the listening experience when you actually have the CD or the vinyl in your hand

@mitchlafon @shaketheboots This I agree with 💯! Music used to be an experience. From hearing it on radio/seeing on MTV to going to record store to buying album to opening packaging to pulling out the vinyl or cd & putting it on your record/cd player to reading booklet & listening to going to show!

@mitchlafon I dont think you can blame streaming for the state of music nowadays. Its a combo of things like the industry, radio, record companies, ticketing for live shows, tv, fans and even the artists themselves. The culture in the U.S. has been ruined, not music.

Why is it anytime the news media posts stories about rising gas prices they always use the most expensive gas stations like Cheveron, Shell, Sinclair to be the barometer of how expensive prices are when everyone else is like $0.50-$1.00 cheaper? Sams Club, Costco still under $4!
