Jaguars owner Shad Khan has "basically been in there (the facility) every day" and believes the professionalism, culture and chemistry have done a 180 under Pederson/Baalke. That prompted him to call timeout on the EVP. Jaguars still planning to add more pieces under Baalke

It’s not the decision to hire Doug Pederson. It’s the treatment of a guy who has literally put in his blood, sweat, and tears into your organization. He doesn’t deserve that. Also a terrible time to do this considering what’s going on in the NFL with the treatment of minorities

This franchise sucks and watching it burn to the ground sucks. Running an NFL franchise isn't easy but Shad Khan through both laziness and incompetence makes it impossibly difficult. Watching it all happen before our eyes when we have no power is infuriating.

I’ve said many times I like Pederson. But leaving a guy like Byron in limbo for 9 days while we mess around and flirt with guys like Kevin O’Connell is ridiculous.

@UCF_Jaguar Dude, calm down. You're totally discrediting Pederson as a great option because of this news. You're fantasizing at the thought of Leftwich being our HC when we don't know if he'd even be successful as one. At least with Pederson we know more of what we're getting.

@HULKSMASHGAMMA @UCF_Jaguar That's not necessarily true. We were one of the first teams to interview Pederson, so if he liked what he saw in this franchise then he may have been holding out to be offered the position. We have no idea what has gone on behind closed doors.
