A look back at our Christmas-G launch. We posted a quick clip in December, here’s the full video from the day. Great working alongside Micro-G and @HavocAi_USV !

Do you want to spend your summer making PowerPoints… or building real things? We’re hiring one engineering intern for Summer 2026. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside our engineering and operations teams on real projects involving sea-based launch infrastructure. No busywork. No fake projects. We’re looking for students studying Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering. If you want an internship where you can actually say “I worked on that”, send your resume to info@thespaceportcompany.com

Thank you Aidan Daoussis and @balerionspace for a great conversation about the infrastructure humanity needs to build communities beyond Earth and spacefaring human civilization. This video also includes a tour of our rocket launching ship, the Once in a Lifetime! open.substack.com/pub/balerionsp…

Great question! Yes, the launch was a success! This was a low altitude experimental launch. While this mission had several objectives, the primary objective for TSC was to validate our launch rail, which performed beautifully. We will be sharing more details and content soon, so stay tuned!

@TheSpaceportCo @HavocAi_USV I've read Your posts and the article, yet still couldn't find if this mission was orbital or not, whether the flight was succesful. Was it? Did it go well?

Big milestone for our team, and great to see the operational side of this mission highlighted. Sea-based launch takes more than a rocket, and this piece does a nice job explaining what went into making it happen. Huge thanks to our partners at Micro-G and @HavocAi_USV for working alongside us. If you’re interested in the details behind this mission, check out the full story here: tectonicdefense.com/exclusive-havo…

Havoc
Havoc@HavocAi_USV·
The day after HavocAI demonstrated the first GPS-denied autonomous air/sea control, we accomplished another first – autonomous range clearance for sea-based space launch. Havoc provided autonomous range clearance for @TheSpaceportCo fast-turnaround, cost-effective maritime launch vessel, supplementing their manned operations by clearing miles of open water. The Rampages detected a vessel within the safety radius and provided visual ID so Spaceport personnel could ensure safety standards for launch were met. Havoc is still the only full, collaborative autonomy that can #fighttonight. Check the story in @tectonicdefense: tectonicdefense.com/exclusive-havo…. Last week’s launch was a test run for the launch of a much bigger vehicle in the Spring requiring clearance out to 30nm. Like every meaningful operation, this requires more than a single vessel doing simple tasks. Thinking, problem-solving fleets free humans from the dirty and dangerous work that call for the speed and precision of robots. We're consistently on the water showing how collaborative autonomy solves problems, saves money, and safeguards lives. That's because our collaborative autonomy works. Not a slide deck, animation, or experiment. Havoc is real autonomy being deployed right now. #autonomy #maritimeautonomy #Rampage #space #defensetech #dualuse #ASV

Yesterday, The Spaceport Company launched a small liquid fueled rocket at sea with our partner John Garvey of Micro-G. This was the first successful offshore launch of a liquid-fueled rocket by an American company since the Boeing Sea Launch days. Launching liquids at sea is the next step on our incremental development path to vastly increase launch cadence and, ultimately, build human communities beyond Earth. More news and updates to come but for now enjoy this short clip of the launch. Have a great weekend!

We recently wrapped up our 2025 Summer Intern Program, and we couldn’t be prouder of the incredible work our interns accomplished. These guys brought energy, intelligence, and grit to every project... proving themselves to be not only hardworking, but innovators who took ownership from start to finish. Henry designed, built, and tested our tri-sub floating structure, an engineering challenge that demanded both creativity and discipline. Evan designed and built a test container, creating critical infrastructure for future projects. Each intern didn’t just assist... they led, driving projects that will continue to advance our mission long after the summer ends. It’s been a privilege to work alongside such sharp and motivated individuals. Their contributions made a real impact, and we can’t wait to see where their paths take them next.

A beautiful day on the water with our Tri-Sub semi-submersible platform. Sharing some recent drone footage (plus a few stills, since the video almost looks too good to be real). The Tri-Sub is a cost-effective, semi-submersible platform purpose-built for offshore launch and test operations. It combines stability, modularity, and open-water capability. If interested in purchasing, please contact us.

Our nation’s limited launch infrastructure is under strain. As commercial, defense, and scientific missions grow, so does the competition for launch windows—and delays are now the norm, not the exception. It’s time for more launch sites, more flexibility, and more resilience in our space access. The Spaceport Company is building that future—offering dedicated, responsive launch ranges that put control back in your hands. Let's stop waiting in line and start launching on demand.

The Space Force is reportedly delaying ULA’s next Atlas V launch at Cape Canaveral due to undisclosed military operations. This pause is part of a broader push for rapid-response launch capabilities, affecting both commercial and national security missions. The exact nature of the military activity remains classified, but it has led to a rare stand-down of launch operations on Florida’s Space Coast. arstechnica.com/space/2025/04/…

"This week, there's demand for launch slots at Cape Canaveral, but the answer is NO!" Cape Canaveral is the busiest spaceport in the US. Imagine shutting down the nation’s busiest airport Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for a week... A 🧵 x.com/StephenClark1/…

One of the holy grails the Space Force is pursuing is the capability to launch on demand. This week, there's demand for launch slots at Cape Canaveral, but the answer is no. arstechnica.com/space/2025/04/…
