Thank you for always playing and supporting The Spike Cross.
We would like to inform you about the upcoming update for the final chapter of Season 2, “Wind Spiker”, scheduled to be released on March 26 (Thu).
Get ready to experience the great matches of the Phantom League, a nightmare-like competition, in Chapter 12.
This update marks the final chapter of Season 2. The Suncyan Studio team has worked hard to bring you a wide variety of new content, including story updates, new players, and new features, for all of you who have been waiting.

■ Season 2 Story Final 12 Chapter
- A new Story Chapter 12, "Big Five", will be released.
- In this chapter, the final match against Raul at his peak will take place.
- The true form of the Five Great Spikers’ Seo Sara, who returns as the Wing Spiker, along with various factions and characters, will be revealed. Please look forward to a tense and exciting story.

S+ Seo Sara (WS), S Iris (Se), and S Yuri (MB) have been added as new players.
All players can be obtained during their respective pickup periods through the “ Pickup Player Recruitment” banner.
Each pickup recruitment costs either 80 V-Points per pull, a Pickup Recruitment Ticket, or 40 Wind Coins.

Collect Dream Shards and build your own team to claim victory!

⬥ Nightmare Arena Format
1. Select difficulty
The difficulty is divided into 5 stages:
• DRIFT — Very Easy
• DOZE — Easy
• SLUMBER — Hard
• TRANCE — Very Hard
• NIGHTMARE — Nightmare

2. Team Formation
• You can select a minimum of 1 player and a maximum of 5 players per position.
• When the arena starts, 1 player from each position will be randomly selected to form your team.
• If you build a team with 4 or more players, a random “Shared Dream” may appear in the Dream Shard choices. The more players you include, the higher the chance of it appearing.

3. Nightmare Arena Match Structure
• The Nightmare Arena consists of a total of 3 rounds.
• Each round has 4 stages, and the final stage of each round is a match against a round boss.
• You must win all stages within a round to proceed to the next round.
• Enemies become stronger as you progress through the rounds, and you must clear all rounds to win the Nightmare Arena.

4. Dream Shards
• When you obtain Dream Shards, each shard grants a specific effect that strengthens your team.
• At the start of each stage, you are given 3 Dream Shard choices. You must select one before the match begins.
• Obtaining the same Dream Shard increases its level (Lv), making its effect stronger.
• If none of the available Dream Shards are suitable, you can spend V-Points to reroll and get new options.
• If a “Shared Dream” occurs, you will receive a player substitution opportunity and +1 additional Dream Shard choice.
Some Dream Shards also have synergistic effects that become stronger when combined with each other.
Build your own combination of Dream Shards and overcome the nightmare!
※ All obtained Dream Shards are retained throughout your run in the Nightmare Arena.

5. Round Clear Time Limit
• Each round has a 15-minute clear time limit upon entry.
• The 15-minute timer is absolute and continues running even when the game is paused.
• However, while on the Dream Shard selection screen, a separate 2-minute selection timer is applied instead.
• If the 15-minute limit is exceeded, you cannot enter the stage. You must choose one of the following to continue: Give Up / Reset Round / Use Round Time Extension Ticket.
• Using a Round Time Extension Ticket adds +10 minutes to the clear time limit.
• Within the round time limit, you can retry each stage without restriction to achieve a higher score.

The weekly maximum acquisition limits for each reward are as follows:
Blue Flame: 400 (per week max)
Arena Points: 1,500 (per week max)
You cannot obtain rewards beyond the weekly maximum limit, but gameplay is not restricted.
※ The weekly maximum for Blue Flame is shared with Colosseum rewards.
Round Clear Rewards
• You can earn Arena Points for clearing each round in the Nightmare Arena.
• There is no limit to the amount of Arena Points you can earn from clearing.
• The base clear reward is 200 points, and the final amount varies depending on the selected difficulty and your round rank.

- [Nightmare Arena Upgrade] +1 Dream Shard at the start of a run

※ Each item has a purchase limit.
[Nightmare Arena Upgrade] items provide permanent bonuses in the Nightmare Arena.
Purchasing duplicates will increase their level (+1), strengthening the effect.
There is a total lifetime purchase limit for these upgrade

Seo Sara returns as a Wing Spiker with a 5-week mission challenge!
To celebrate the “Wind Spiker” update, a special event will be held.
During the event period, new weekly missions will be available each week.
By clearing missions or reaching weekly goals, you can earn Wind Coins.

■ Other Improvements & Fixes
- Fixed an issue where spikes could be hit from under the net to the other side
- Fixed an issue where the ball would drop straight down after hitting the net
- Adjusted the fall speed of jump float serves to prevent them from going out
- Updated counter receive rules so you can now command a teammate to receive even while airborne
- Reduced error rate for League 13 player Yoonseok
- Slightly increased players’ sliding range (120 → 125) / greatly increased controlled player’s sliding range (120 → 175)
- Fixed blocking and net detection issues where hits would sometimes not register correctly
- Fixed a bug where the ball trajectory appeared choppy at 120 FPS
- Adjusted so that when the player is fully set in a defensive position, teammates’ sliding cannot intercept the ball
- Adjusted priority so teammate receives no longer override the controlled player’s sliding
- Improved animation system for overall memory optimization
