We now have beer #2 on draught - First & Last Brewery’s ‘10 beers for 10 years’ anniversary series. A hazy pale, 4.9% ABV. 🍻 It was brewed on International Women's Day with a group of women from NE brewing community and the local community.

It’s the last day of our Beer Festival today and we have Ellie Caile Live singing live in the bar between 2pm and 4pm. 🎶 The pub will be open until 10pm tonight and food will be served all day between 12 noon and 8pm. Tel. 01669 650221

When we demolished the unused old toilets in 2019 to create a bin store, there was an old toilet in there which was sold online to someone in Wales - he has since restored it for his home and it’s looking great 😬

Our kitchen will be closed on Wednesday 15th April to give our kitchen team a day off whilst one of our full time chefs is on holiday. Otherwise, business as usual every day! The pub and shop are open all day on the 15th, as usual.

One of today’s Chef Specials is a Trio of Sausages with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The sausages are bacon & black pudding, pork & chorizo and maple and chilli 😋
