I have mixed feelings.
As a regular driver, getting by a bike driving the wrong way on a road that’s barely wide enough for a car is so stressful. Even if it’s the cyclist’s fault, the driver often gets charged with the higher responsibility.

Starting on April 1st, Japan tightened its traffic rules for bicycles, giving police power to issue various fines. In this news clip an officer is trying to crack down on the extremely common practice of cyclists going the wrong way on a one-way street.

I saw a short vid a while ago. A native English speaker taking the TOEIC and he didn’t know a lot of the English vocabulary in the practice problems.
They weren’t even hard words. All he really did was tell the world he never reads.
