Being a Chelsea fan has taught me something strange about football: The less perfect we look, the more dangerous we become. That’s why the FA Cup always feels personal to me. Some of my favorite Chelsea memories didn’t come from dominant league seasons. They came from chaos seasons. Seasons where everybody mocked us, doubted us, called us finished — and somehow we still ended up at Wembley lifting something. From Drogba turning finals into personal highlight reels, to Hazard gliding through defenders like the pressure didn’t exist, Chelsea built a reputation for surviving ugly seasons with silverware in hand. And honestly? That’s why tomorrow against Manchester City doesn’t scare me the way it should. Yes, City are the better machine. Yes, they’re more stable. Yes, on paper they should control the game. But football is not played on paper. Especially not cup football. Chelsea has always had this strange ability to become emotionally dangerous when people stop expecting anything from us. It’s almost like pressure unlocks something in the club’s DNA. I’ve seen us walk into finals as underdogs and leave with history. I’ve seen seasons that looked dead suddenly come alive under Wembley lights. So tomorrow, I’m not expecting perfection. I’m expecting fight. I’m expecting moments. I’m expecting chaos. And somehow, as a Chelsea fan, chaos has always felt like home. Maybe City win. Maybe quality wins out. But if the game becomes emotional instead of tactical… if the crowd starts believing… if one big moment swings blue… Then history starts talking again. And Chelsea’s history in this competition speaks very loudly.

@TheSultanSPOC Yes, hope so too. He plays with a back 5. We have players that suit his style. Cucu, James Enzo, Palmer will all cook. Most importantly, Enzo will stay. We cannot afford to lose him. We do NOT have another midfielder like him in that team.

If they give him control, yes. The one they refused Maresca that made him walk away. Reports are saying they are open to doing that. Xabi wants control over recruitment. The players will respect him and kill for him. Unless they make him just a coach without freedom to choose, then he’d be gone in January.
