Before, I used to express myself freely 😌 Now it’s: “Be calm… be patient… pray for them…” Pray for who?? The same person that annoyed me?? 😭 Nobody told me small lie will now feel like I committed a federal crime. Before, it was “just a tiny lie.” Now my conscience is shouting like police siren 🚨 Nobody told me I can’t even enjoy my old lifestyle in peace again. The same things I used to do freely now come with instant guilt package. Nobody told me gossip will turn into prayer request. Before: “Come let me tell you what she did…” Now: “Father Lord, bless her and guide her…” God abeg 😭 Nobody told me when someone offends me, instead of showing them my full Jezebel reaction, I’ll just smile like a customer care agent, pray silently, and walk away. Who trained me like this?? Nobody told me if I don’t pray or read my Bible, my whole day will feel somehow, like something is missing, like I forgot my Inhaler at home. I won’t rest until I pray. Nobody told me humility will just land on my head like this. Me that used to carry pride like designer bag, now I’m humble like someone applying for a visa 😭 Nobody told me some places I used to enjoy, like clubs, will now feel like I mistakenly entered another planet. I’ll just be there like: “What am I even doing here?” Honestly… nobody told me I won’t even be able to sin in peace again 😭 Now every day is: “Try again.” “Do better.” “Grow.” Ah. As we potentially barrel haplessly towards the singularity, I sometimes worry about the removal of friction from everyday life. Friction has two important psychological functions: 1) It acts as a filtration system, forcing us to each stop and think what is worth our limited time and attention. Remove friction and you remove the filtration, granting our attention to the highest clickbait bidder. 2) Struggle is where life’s meaning gets manufactured. It's the fact that it's so difficult to compromise in a long-term relationship that makes it so powerful when you stay together. By removing friction from every area of life, we are removing the opportunity for people to build the muscle of meaningful struggle.

@ValaAfshar People stay stuck because they keep replaying old decisions with new wisdom and calling it failure. It’s not failure. It’s how learning works. Hard to forgive yourself for something you literally hadn’t learned yet. Growth doesn’t come before the lesson.

Notice how he doesn’t say that he tried to see if the rumors were true? He heard these rumors and did nothing? That’s the position he really wants to take?

External blame is easier. “Something took over me.” Harder truth: You practiced the pattern until it felt automatic.

You’re not a puppet for unseen entities. But you are responsible for what you: let shape your thinking rehearse internally Give power to That’s where the real battle is — not external takeover, but internal alignment vs. internal chaos.

You can do things right and still hit resistance. You can move with integrity and still face pressure, loss, or uncertainty. That doesn’t automatically mean you messed up. Sometimes it means you’ve stepped into something that requires growth you don’t have yet. Blaming everything on “the devil” removes responsibility. Blaming everything on yourself creates unnecessary guilt. The useful question isn’t “Who put me here?” It’s: “What is this situation demanding that I become?”

Vivek Ramaswamy Is Dead Wrong on What it Means to Be an American Yesterday, Vivek said you can’t just move to France and become French or Japan and become Japanese or Italy and become Italian etc. He’s right. BUT then… Vivek makes the obscene argument that all 9 billion people on earth can all move to America and magically become “American” No. This ideology is cancer. 1. Being an American is not about how quickly the government can issue you paperwork. It's a heritage. A tradition forged in centuries of sacrifice of our forefathers who settled and built this land. Who built America? The answer is European Christians. For the first 200 years +90% of the American population were Christian settlers from the European continent. We also fought in the wars, built the infrastructure, created the economy and culture. These are facts. To ignore them is intellectual dishonesty and disrespect. What’s worse than ignoring our founding culture is the argument that other cultures are worth preserving and ours is not. 2. Why is Chinese, French, Japanese or German culture distinct and sacred, yet American culture, which has been the dominant force here since the 1600s, is to be discarded and replaced? A Nation is its people. If you took all the Japanese out of Japan, it wouldn’t be Japan anymore. If Japanese people became a vanishing minority in Japan, it wouldn’t be Japan anymore. If America becomes a UN refugee camp of infinite foreign enclaves, each one with their own alien traditions and allegiances and languages, we will atomize American culture. These comments reveal a worldview that America is simply an economic taxation zone to be strip mined of all resources by globalists and foreign fraudsters. I disavow this. To be an effective leader you must first love and treasure the people that you are leading. It’s ok to want to keep America American. 🇺🇸

Freedom: Freedom is the ability to choose what aligns with what’s actually good and true. It’s self-governance, not impulse. It’s direction, not just options. Anyone can act on impulse. That’s easy. What’s rare is the ability to not act on impulse when it pulls you off course. Real freedom looks more like this: You can do the wrong thing… but you’re not controlled by the urge to.

Become someone who can handle reality without needing it to bend to your expectations.

I watched the Tucker and Buckley interview. Found it interesting. Here is what I don't understand from "Uncle Buck" and many more millions who agree with him. He raised the issue of "no accountability" for Russiagate. Trump himself complains of this often. Federal prosecutors within DOJ sabotaged cases, making it so that the statute of limitations had expired. When indictments are brought, as against Comey, federal judges make up new rules. Trump is furious that there hasn't been accountability. Why blame Trump for this? Surely insiders like Buckley and Tucker understand how insiders can manipulate the system. What is Trump supposed to do, given the constraints of his office? I've thought about this often, have talked to many smart lawyers about it. He doesn't have a lot of plays here. Buckley also raises a lack of accountability for the J6 show trials. Trump free the oppressed. He dismissed pending cases. Men who were looking at 30 years in prison are out. Some of those dumb asses he pardoned went out and did more crimes. Which makes us all look like assholes. Trump took a huge risk, one I am grateful for. Tucker covered the Douglas Mackey case. Biden tried to send an innocent man to prison for posting a meme and being effective against Democrats. How many more cases would have been filed against Tucker and others, had Trump lost in 2024? I understand the Iran war objection, and the overall complaint that Trump is far too comfortable mocking Christ and Christianity. Christians should push back more aggressively. Buckley and Tucker talk of WASP values often. But those values are why were are in this predicament. "Taking it with a stiff upper lip," breaks down when the rules of the game changed and you have to throw a tantrum to get results. I don't like this new cultural. And? This is politics. You win or you lose. Given the state of affairs today, losing means death by the Bolsheviks. It was Biden who spied on Catholics and send grandmothers to prison to protesting abortion. These FACE Act cases were barely covered. I discussed them often. If the choice is having someone who posts memes vs. someone who wants to throw Christians into prison, perhaps everyone should ask if maybe our brains have become digitized. What happens on a screen is not the same as real life. The Truth social post may seem offensive to some, it was to me, but sitting in a prison cell isn't in the same universe. I'll take the infantile behavior over wrongful imprisonment. What serious person would not? There are some other issues raised, Charlie Kirk being chief among them. My own views are more hardline than Buckley's or Tucker's. Charlie Kirk would be alive if far left wing political violence had been treated like the crisis that it was and is. Other than me and a few other people in 2015, who was talking about this? Almost no one. There is more than enough accountability to go around. Voting for Trump in 2024, and 2016, and 2020, was the obvious choice. What is the alternative? Democrat super majority? Turning the U.S. into LA and letting cities burn down (literally)? Illiterates driving 18 wheelers and smashing into our families? Jobs that my friend's dads had growing up being taken by the same people? You think the Red Green Alliance won't line your families up like they did to Tsar Nicolas? I am almost 50. Men in their 60's are responsible for the conditions we live in, as are men my age. We sat out too many elections. We don't do enough now to get out the vote. Charlie understood that politics isn't a debate society. You need to discuss ideas, and win the narrative battles, obviously, but winning an argument doesn't mean all that much if people are unwilling or unable to use political power. There's a lot to say about Trump, I've said plenty. What is everyone doing to change electoral outcomes? That's the only question today that matters.
