5. Gibson's view on layoffs: ~ Companies are always optimizing they layoff and at the same time hires them they think will benefit the company. ~You should worry about upskilling and getting it right not of company X did a layoff. ~If you know what you are doing you will be seen.

1. To have a successful interview: ~ Have the mentality that interviews are there to get you the job not to disqualify you ~If you can do 60% of what is needed apply. ~Read as much as possible in preparation "like its an exam." ~Get as much as possible closer to the recruiter
