@TheTopTopicSub @ESPNRefNHL Also, we only ever hear about the spots where they challenge on goals scored. Nobody goes and checks to see how the linesmen do on every entry to see what their actual percentage might be.

@nonsequitur2787 @ESPNRefNHL I remember the obvious Offsides The Flyers had in Game-1 VS. The Penguins in 2012. The Pens had a 3-0 lead after 1 Period. Early in The 2ND, Flyers Scored on that, Won in O.T., and Won that Series. Should’ve gone to Game-7 at least. All because of that miss.

Yeah, but wasn’t the challenge meant to be for situations where the offside player had a clear advantage and it lead directly to a goal? It seems like once it has been missed, if the play continues for 30-45 seconds and the team wins battles on the boards and scores off the cycle the offsides wasn’t the cause and should not be reviewable. I hate the current implementation of this rule.
