I understand the bitterness and anger expressed by students in European and American universities, and I commend their courage. Yes, there needs to be a ceasefire in Gaza. Yes, Israel must stop its systematic policy of colonization. Yes, Palestinians deserve their independent state. I also understand the feeling of injustice regarding propaganda, which tries to equate any demand for justice for Palestinians with antisemitism. However I would like to particularly address Lebanese students in these universities. Seeking justice for Palestinians and an end to Netanyahu's criminal massacres does not mean glorifying Hamas or Hezbollah, which are pawns in the Iranian game and whose actions have only caused decades of suffering for Palestine and Lebanon.

The US construction industry can increase available housing by 1% to 2% per year. But the US population is only 330M out of 8B. So if just ~4% of Earth moves here, housing would need to double, which is impossible, causing a massive homeless problem and house prices to be astronomically unaffordable.
