@early404 Cause in trading those $500 are at risk.. they can literally become $0 the next day (or even go negative with leverage). While the $90 from a job are earned and secured. Once you get paid, they’re yours for good. No risk of waking up and seeing them gone.

Why does $500 seem like nothing in trading But $90 seems like a lot in a job? Someone explain..

There’s a ton of research on the buy vs rent debate. When you buy you also take on a bunch of extra costs that don’t exist when you rent (maintenance, property taxes, insurance, closing costs, etc.) and you usually need a pretty big down payment. Personally though… I’ve always bought 😂

Incredible run for Apple so far — now only ~2.6% behind Nvidia for the title of world's largest company. Polymarket says Nvidia 77%, Apple 23% for 'Largest Company End of July'. Feels like Apple is being slightly undervalued. With 2 weeks to go in July, this race is insanely close. A couple of strong days for $AAPL (or a quiet one for $NVDA) could flip it.
