The Joe Kent thing makes it more likely Trump will escalate. Because now, if he pulls back (and saves his presidency) it will look like an admission he was indeed manipulated by Bibi. (If he escalates, he loses his presidency over gas prices and American KIA.)

So not only was Carr repeating Trump's talking points yesterday, he was tweeting from Trump's club. Carr visits Mar-a-Lago every month or so during the winter months, recognizing (as many others in Trump's orbit have) that it's an ideal way to get face time with the president.
