(2/2) Luke Mechler with a 4-1 s.v. over Gavin Drexler Cale Anderson 13-9 over Aidan Brenot Anderson has yet to have a winning season. Opening up his final year with a win like this is the result of good coaching.

#6 - Some MAJOR growth. The thesis behind Zargo and Braxton redshirting last season was for the young core to get reps and improve. The early results seem to validate that plan. Both Nicolar (14-6) and Condon (13-4) posted major decisions against NDSU in the season opener!

I tell you what, if @BadgerWrestling continues to look like they did yesterday against NDSU, then some of our media critics who like to harp on @ChrisBono might wanna chow down on some crow. He had two of his unknown seniors yesterday pull off very notable upsets. (1/2)
