Today has been a productive day. I’ve added a new knockback state for certain situations, bringing more variety to combat. I’ve also finished a new creature, and I’m working on more adaptive enemy behaviors. You can see it in this screenshot… let’s just say there’s no escape.

Hi everyone! Today I want to talk a bit about the enemies in Warped Point, and while I'm at it, show you some early alpha gameplay. The goal WP is to deliver combat that blends dynamic use of weapons and tools, with a strong focus on skill, adaptation, and frantic action.

Warped Point aims to create smarter enemies that adapt to your playstyle and environment, avoiding predictable roles. It’s a tough balance to achieve, but the goal is dynamic, surprising battles that keep you on your toes and make the gameplay exciting.
