The @NYRangers are a fascinating study of the power of the mind. Yes, they have structural roster issues, but....It looks like they aren't trying but struggle in sport (and life) exposes the power of the mind in operating optimally. Especially in a venture, like hockey, that requires so much emotional investment and high activation of the senses. Stress slows the brain and the muscles. The fruits of a dialed mind are peace, hope, love, joy, patience, faith, and fearlessness. The Rangers are 180 from those requirements. It's why coaching changes usually change fortunes initially. It reboots the brain and at least brings out the true potential of the players.

If Robert Saleh did what Dan Campbell did late in the conference championship there would be a month-long rant about how terrible of a head coach he is from EVERYONE.
