Football fans are bizarre, happy to slate terrible owners but if a club gets really good owners who care about the club and invest in it and the local area etc then they get slated as well..

So, just to clarify how all this works: Every decision that goes in favour of Wrexham or against Notts County is analysed to the Nth degree. Every dubious decision for Notts County or against Wrexham is glossed over and never mentioned again. Sounds good 👍

This has to be the midfield going forward now until the end of the season. All three fantastic. So much quality. O'Connor (when he's fit) is the only other who should be in contention.

Considering Sheffield United is a big club with a superb history, everything I’ve heard from their players and fans during and after the two games reeks of a small club mentality.

Of course there's much more to it but with gate money, merch, sponsorship and streaming I can guarantee you Wrexham are absolutely rolling in it and a lot of that is down to income

The way Wrexham are celebrated like a fairytale makes me laugh. For context it’s like Brad Pitt owning Accrington Stanley & being 2nd in League One by signing the top goalscorer in the league above (Mitrovic) & the centre back of the title winners two leagues above (John Stones).

No need to be bitter over the way Sheff Utd have reacted to beating us narrowly at the second attempt (especially given we rested half the squad). If anything it's a massive compliment. Wealdstone on Saturday is the bigger game and won't be easy.

@DJohns1988 @_The72 1 automatic promotion place in the National League doesn't leave much to chance. 3 in League Two leaves you a huge margin for error. Fleetwood, FGR, Salford, Stockport to name a few all spent huge to get out. Difference is, Stockport aside, the others had pathetic support

@eggontoast5555 @_The72 It’s still a big drop for a player though isn’t it? How many L1 players are signed by NL clubs for actual money each season? Can’t imagine it’s many. NL clubs typically don’t have the finances to sign such players.

When Chesterfield came to the Racecourse in October they were flying in the league yet could only muster 549 away fans. Tomorrow night, despite it being midweek, despite our mixed form, despite the storms, we'll still be taking our full allocation of 1,800 to their place. Levels.

We're going to get a lot of stick today for this signing at 500k but I hope everybody who dipped into life savings, remortgaged to save the club enjoys it. They deserve it more than anybody, up the free spending reds @Wrexham_AFC
