This will be a game changer hopefully for football right across the board. Football is an entertainment business people go to see goals and excitement not chopping off goals for a toenail being offside or drawing lines. That shite is killing the game IMO.

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Arsene's Wenger new offside rule has been APPROVED and will be used in the Canadian Premier League! A player will ONLY be offside if he has FULLY passed the last defender, so it won't be decided based on a body part anymore. If succesful, the offside rule could change across the entire world from the 2027/28 season on.

@timmymhallet67 I suspect Ange had a massive influence on where our scouts were looking at the time, of course I do. Probably every manager in football has an influence where they are looking. But my point was Oh wasn’t given the time and patience at us to achieve the potential he’s now reached

You have to congratulate Besiktas. They’ve genuinely signed a quality striker in Hyeun-Gyu Oh. Last week on his debut, he scored an overhead kick goal. This week against Basaksehir he delivered a top-class assist and then a beautifully placed finish into the bottom corner. Really well taken. What stands out too is how quickly he’s settled into the team, you can see it in the way he celebrates with his teammates, how happy and comfortable he already looks. Last year, he was close to joining VfB Stuttgart, a top club in a top five league. But his path is Besiktas now, and I’m sure he’ll work his way back to the very top soon. South Korean fans love him. Besiktas fans already love him. Great signing.

@tirnaog_09 Loads of crosses into the 6 yard box last night, after the first 20 minutes when we getting in behind loads, there was always a livi man to clear. Was set up for a cut back to find the opening, just took longer than it should have. A moment of quality though and never given up
