In 200level, I tried to shake hands with a guy in my class(I didn't know you can't shake hands with members of the opposite sex as a Muslim) and he said it was haram to shake my hand. I asked why and he got visibly angry so I dropped it. That same afternoon, we were supposed to go to the main campus for histology practical and we were both late so we somehow got round to taking a bike together and he sat behind me. When we got to the laboratory, I asked him why it was haram to shake my hand but it wasn't haram to sit behind me on a bike especially as the bike thingy exposed us to more touching than a handshake. He didn't answer me. He actually hasn't answered me till today and it's been four years.

The mechanic

Quick tip: If your car gets submerged in water like this, the first thing to do is DON'T START THE CAR. Have your mechanic drain and replace the engine oil and transmission/gear oil with the correct fluids first. After that, the car can be checked and started carefully to assess any electrical or mechanical issues. Starting a water submerged car immediately can cause much more serious damage with changing the oil . Really hope people don't have to spend unplanned money with this flood

That’s one of the biggest continuity questions the show created. If Laenor Velaryon were truly alive, then in theory Seasmoke shouldn’t have been available for another rider. The fact that Seasmoke later accepts Addam of Hull strongly implies one of two things: Laenor died sometime after leaving Westeros (off-screen), ending the bond. The show expects viewers to accept the change without explaining the mechanics. If Laenor had actually returned while still bonded, it’s unlikely Seasmoke would simply abandon him. Dragons form deep bonds with their riders, and nothing in the lore suggests they willingly switch allegiance while that bond still exists. So Seasmoke choosing Addam is generally taken as the show’s quiet indication that Laenor is no longer alive, even if it hasn’t explicitly shown or stated it. 🐉
Node 🗿@NodeOfWeb3

Laenor Velaryon surviving and faking his death means Seasmoke was never technically up for grabs. Imagine if he suddenly sailed back during the Dance, whose side would the dragon actually listen to?

• Very observant • Can read you like a book • Very easy to detach from people who don't respect them • Don't care about other people's validation • Calm and chill personality • Will choose to be alone than date rubbish • Talk less and do more • If they like you, it's a solid one • Will choose their peace over discomfort or disrespect • They don't need to engage in different activities or events outside to meet people. They create their own happiness indoors • Don't take their silence as weakness. They're dangerous people to mess around with

In order to understand how this free kick was scored, you have to understand the psychology and limitations of defending free kicks. The set up of the Argentine players meant that the keeper couldn't see the ball, so he had to rely on guess work. In this case, he took his cue from movement of his teammates who were fooled into jumping. So he was anticipating a ball over the top. Then the placement: The shot had just enough power to beat an already committed keeper, but not too much to lose accuracy. So all Messi had to do was find the gap and wager that his teammates had done enough to put the keeper off.

He played full 90 minutes in the first two games and Argentina qualified as group leaders so they decided to rest him so he would be fully fit for the knockouts But that Obsessed mf still insisted to play this irrelevant game even though his team was 2-0 up just so he could statpad against a poorly ranked Jordan. But today see the narrative and propaganda his coach and the media are putting out🤣 Walahi you can never beat Messi’s PR😭 Why didn’t he sit on the bench in the first two matches so his teammates can play?😂 If he’s not obsessed with records why is he not letting his teammates take the penalties, free kicks or even corners😂 This is how the media has brainwashed many people into thinking Messi is humble while Ronaldo is Arrogant and obsessed with records. Meanwhile Ronaldo is the one who shares set piece duties with his teammates😂
Fabrizio Romano@FabrizioRomano

🌎🇦🇷 Lionel Scaloni: “Messi could have played the full game yesterday and added even more to his legend… but he chose to let his teammates get playing time”. “He doesn’t think about the records people talk about, that says everything about what Argentina means to him.”

This is actually a common misconception. Targaryens are not naturally immune to fire. George R. R. Martin has clarified that Daenerys Targaryen surviving Khal Drogo’s funeral pyre was a unique magical event, not a hereditary Targaryen ability. The ritual involved blood magic, dragon eggs, and Mirri Maz Duur’s sacrifice, making it a one-time miracle that brought dragons back into the world.
Yoshua@joshua_j28051

Why don't all the Targaryens have fire resistance? Why is it that only Danaerys Targaryen could survive fire and nobody else? Was there some special magic in her blood or something that was mentioned in the books?

I never understood this scene and consider it a significant plot hole. . . Supergirl has to go to a planet with a Red Sun to deactivate her powers so she can get drunk. In this scene, she's on Earth. Our yellow sun should have reactivated her powers and healed her almost immediately. So, why is she still drunk in this scene?

If Laenor were secretly alive, you could argue Rhaenyra's marriage to Daemon was technically invalid. But legitimacy in Westeros isn't just about the truth... it's about what the realm accepts. Laenor was publicly declared dead, so Daemon and Rhaenyra's marriage, and their children, were recognized as legitimate.
Teslimat@Teslimatttt

As we all know, Laenor is still alive somewhere. Does that technically make Rhaenyra’s children with Daemon bastards as well?
