That thing that happened in Plateau is a distraction. Follow the pattern. When the military is decimating these marauders, they planned a train derailment, suicide bombs, attack on soft target or a fake ethnic dispute, that they hoped will distract the military and give them chance regroup. Let me break down some of the things Bukele has done to restore sanity. 1. State of exception, which led to mass arrests, mass surveillance 2. Mega prisons with harsh conditions. 3. Military involvement in policing. Lagos, for example, will demolish illegal structures, and we are up in arms. We, as a people, need to agree on the kind of leadership they want.
