I live in Melbourne Australia & had to go into the city & pay for car park. Every single car park has to be paid for by card or phone when you return to your car. I went to the attendant to pay using cash. She said, "Didn't you see the sign? Condition of entry is pay via card & not cash". I said I missed the sign, which I did, I said "now what, I don't have cards (I really do but wanted the argument) I only have cash? She rolled her eyes & gave out a huge sigh & said give me the cash & I will pay for it with my card, which she did begrudgingly. I thanked her & expressed how stupid the rule was which she did not appreciate. Felt great after that!...
