@rockygolem23 It’s not a spin off, the book is a direct sequel with the board game changing forms based on the kids interests. The new movies use the same premise to explain why it’s a video game now.
But the movies were licensed by different studios so they couldn’t keep the references

@fahspen Even Avengers Infinity War was made in 1080p but upscaled for theatrical and home releases. Most digital films with cgi released prior to ~2021 were shot in 1080p and upscaled. Now, the difference is actually noticeable but it is a synthetic adjustment to the sharpness.

@CraigKoban They should start with the physical media release, incentivizing its purchase and drawing focus for people to look out for the movie’s accessibility. And have streaming take 6+ months. Hopefully this would break the neutral stance of some audiences who wait for streaming.

@bomboy70 I agree it’s stupid to race swap these characters. HOWEVER, Magneto being a holocaust survivor makes him an incredible character but also very trapped in a temporality. The more the years pass, the less believable it sadly is that a man who was 10 in 1944 is still kicking today
