Sure he used the correct word, but why is he patting himself on the back instead of properly crediting his research to Filipino chefs and culture. Why is he acting like he was the one to "bridge" AAPI month and Pride month whatever that means

@JulianKJarboe It's not confusing, your original post did not mention at all that you researched authentic Filipino methods. You absolutely did not credit the culture or the people you worked with. You can't "better emphasize" zero mentions. That's why it comes off as claiming it as your own

@Jrrealkkins @INFINITE_SGE thing is, they're still playing dota while being abysmal at it. Maybe the idea that you should be improving at a fg but you're not, turns people away. Or FGs are so simple that (lack of) improvement is too obvious as opposed to how complex improvement is in Dota

@INFINITE_SGE @The_Calabo my thing is having someone play dota for 100 hours and have someone play sf6 for 100 hours. At the very least the sf6 player will know what is going wrong in the game. Whereas in dota the player will have 0 idea the macro required to win rthe game

Coming to terms with Fighting games always being nesh is humbling. At some point u realize that most ppl would rather just pick up a gun n shoot, than lab a complex character to get better at playing the game. Maybe It's just too intimidating & time consuming for most idk.🤔🤷🏾‍♂️

@INFINITE_SGE @Jrrealkkins I think it also comes down to how much fun it is to be a casual in a fighting game. Your average league or valo player who plays multiple 30+min games a day is hard stuck silver. They're still trying, but not improving greatly. People also need to play FGs this way

@The_Calabo @Jrrealkkins yeah I think the notation quotes are a distraction from the core issue. most players don't have a "chat" to tell them how to play. they just go through the tutorial & most FG's explain how to play pretty well. it just comes down to the user's ability to want to continue.
