I had a student ask for an extension - and then apologize for asking for an extension - when her boyfriend had just been SHOT*. How many people had taught her that her personal life mattered that little? Actually horrendous.

@StitchedByAras Neither are strictly feel good - both have darker elements - but Pushing Daisies and iZombie are both great. Both are lighthearted procedural murder mystery shows with a fun supernatural concept.

@NomeDaBarbarian I will say that while "Doubting Thomas" is kind of used as a pejorative, Thomas is the only one to actually touch the risen Christ and that doesn't sound like a BAD thing, that sounds like questioning leading to deeper faith through the journey.
