Here @The_Dev_Den, this was the GameCube thing I was on about...
If I can find it in the loft, I'll bring it down at the weekend as a loan for your display.
Arcadious COMPLETES - [C64] Die! Alien Slime youtu.be/q2SBevTjQhk?si… via @YouTube
Hi all,
This is a play through of ‘Die! Alien Slime’ a C64 game created by myself and @tomstimemachine in 1988 and published by Mastertronic in 1989. Please give it a look if you can.
Thanks!
@The_Dev_Den@RetCollective I've always wanted to make a cart that has a small ROM, and an SD card slot. SD cards are really easy to hook up electrically, so a nice way to ship a massive cart - and you get a full directory. Tis nice.
@mdf200@RetCollective I guess not. Ironically, I had just bought a cheap C128 that popped up on eBay (I already had an external 1571 floppy drive), and was planning on using that until a C128 became available (or I could get the money together to buy one).
At least I’ll have a back-up machine now!👍
@The_Dev_Den@RetCollective Lovely to finally meet you Jason after all these years of chatting over email. The demo of Autoguard completely blew me away! Look forward to seeing your new developments and i'll update the page on Autoguard tomorrow.
Another monumental patron day at @RetCollective , with our most excellent guest speaker @fgasking , I very much enjoyed his talk and chatting to him about a couple of my games that reside on the ‘Games that Weren’t’ website!
@RMCRetro@The_Dev_Den You see that keyboard you are playing?
I am aware of it, yes.
That's your best keyboard you've ever owned, that is. You had to save all your money for it and everything.
@RMCRetro I’d like to say I was playing a blistering solo worthy of Rick Wakeman but, in reality, I was playing the ‘Do-Re-Me’ song from ‘The Sound of Music’… badly!
@0ryn@RetCollective Yep, I noticed that too.
We were having a laugh about it in The Cave this morning.
It’s weird because we all had a whale of a time filming that video!
The whole collective was in today to chat about plans, collaborations, expansion, content and ambitions for 2025.
We’re looking forward to sharing this with you next week.
Dan popped into the museum to check out how we were getting on with the #Multisystem2 design, it needs a sticker or two.
More Multisystem2 updates next week. Richard has evolved the enclosure design to include a lot more future upgrade expansions for this FPGA Retrogaming console
Today is Holly appreciation day!
Always working to keep kit running while we're making videos, no job too big or too small, Holly is a superhero around here. Keep up the wonderful work Holly, especially with keeping those CRT's alive.
