@MrToodles86 No they're not. Winters are getting smaller. It's happening later and later than it should. Storm alleys are moving. This is all trackable data. My own home, I've watched the heat rise and rise every year. Our summers used to be 80s & 90s all summer. This summer has been ~90-110

@MrToodles86 Climate change does happen, but it's not supposed to change so fast someone can see dramatic changes in their lifetimes. It's supposed to happen over thousands of years. Greenhouse gases have essentially insulated the world, letting less and less heat escape the atmosphere

@F3XT4 Yes! I know this is especially true in all vertebrate animals. I m not as well educated in non vertebrate animals like bugs but I imagine they too don't have a green pigment. It's also my guess why so many bugs have green iridescence, because it's a bunch of other colors combined

this is one of my favorite evolutionary biology facts: tigers are orange because mammals can’t make green fur and orange turned out to be good enough.

@MOTaint Most green colored birds, like the emerald macaw, utilize blue and yellow chromatophores. They're so tiny that together they look green, but green pigment outside of chlorophyll is rare. Chromatophores stack to make colors, like mixing paint with primary colors!
