Sorry, forgot to give @The_HistoryBook props for this great photo of Ohio’s new official Halloween pumpkin.

Gov. of OH recently signed a bill making Nov. 19 “James A. Garfield Day” in OH. Fine print includes legal requirement that all Ohio households display one of these pumpkins on Halloween beginning in 2024. We don’t make the rules, folks. But we’ll be checking on you next year.

American history is full of the good, bad, and everything in between but in the end these are our stories!
