@WhySharksMatter I was never told I couldn’t do it, but as soon as I had my first baby, everyone assumed I wouldn’t come back from maternity leave. I had the same privilege until I became a mother. (Obviously no one assumes the dads will stay home)

We officially have SWAG!!! We are celebrating women's history month by doing a fundraiser for MIAZS, which was founded by 2 women, @JellyJanssen and @MegHolst! Order by 3/31/22 to participate in this fundraiser and get an awesome shirt! Link in bio 👕

One of the things I do all the time now that I live in Charlotte is explaining to people that you don't need to live near the ocean to be a marine biologist. Aquariums exist people 😘😀

@FishGuyKai Maybe an unpopular opinion, but Garibaldi are the worst fish. Giant, mean damselfish! 🙅🏼‍♀️ Also, I’ve personally seen them picking on the sweet angel babies of the sea: wolf eels.

Yes there is such a thing as a worst fish. Boo!
