Dry vs wet fasting. Lauren's call takeaway: electrolyte management isn't a problem with dry fasting. Three-day dry felt easier than wet ever did. Real experience, real difference. skool.com/low-carb #Fasting #HealthTips

Your ancestors didn't eat them for 200,000 years. Now they're sprayed with neurotoxins and stripped of anything your body actually needs. This is why grains have to go. If you want to know what your body actually runs on instead, join the community. skool.com/low-carb

You do not have to go cold turkey on carbs. Lower them week on week, keep variety in the diet, stay in a ketogenic state without the boredom. Restriction kills compliance. Variety keeps you on the journey. Book a consultation: calendly.com/richard-smith-… #KetoDiet #LowCarb

Near-zero dietary fat with maintenance protein forces the body to draw entirely from stored fat. No incoming dietary fat means nothing to displace lipolysis. It works fast. It is a competition technique, not a general recommendation. calendly.com/richard-smith-…

Nine years into a carnivore lifestyle and still inflamed. Oxidised linoleic acid sits in your mitochondria for years. But ketones block the NLRP3 inflammasome directly. Every period of ketosis is actively anti-inflammatory. skool.com/low-carb

Lauren came to carnivore needing pure fat. Her body had been starved. A year in, something shifted. She needed less.If you're trying to figure out your own health with people who actually get it, join the community. skool.com/low-carb

Good energy but sleep is suffering since going keto. Try a small protein bolus two hours before bed. Offsets hypoglycaemia that disrupts sleep during transition. Most people stop eating at 5pm. Eating at 7 or 8pm changes the overnight picture entirely. calendly.com/richard-smith-…

The body closes the GLUT4 transporter to protect the cell from being overloaded with sugar. Metformin forces it back open via AMPK. The drug works against the body's natural protective response. Lowering the number is not the same as fixing the problem. skool.com/low-carb

Weight gain around the midsection is one of the first things I look for with clients, because it's often a hormone story before it's a food story. If you want to understand what your own hormones might be telling you rather than guessing, join us. skool.com/low-carb.

A blood cortisol test only captures one moment. You need a saliva cortisol test mapped across the day to see your diurnal rhythm. If it is out of range at any point the HPA axis may be damaged. One GP test is not the full picture. Join the community: skool.com/low-carb

Mikey Davies won yesterday's race in Wales by 2 minutes. Two other zero carb athletes finished in the top 8. They say you need to carb load. Join the community: Link in bio.

I own a supplement company. Don't supplement unless you need to. Supplements compete for absorption. Taking 30 different things means very little is actually getting in for the purpose you intended. skool.com/low-carb #Supplements #HealthTips

Eat at 12, 4, and 8. Four hours apart. Three mTOR activations. Fifteen hours fasted overnight. Autophagy, HGH, cellular repair while you sleep. Adjust the window to your bedtime. skool.com/low-carb

140 pounds bodyweight. Minimum 70 grams of protein for maintenance. Most people don't hit that. And the carbs and anti-nutrients they eat block absorption of even the protein they do consume. That's what drives osteoporosis. skool.com/low-carb

Lions eat, then sleep. That's the ancestral pattern. If you're waking up hungry or struggling to sleep, you haven't eaten enough before bed. Eat later, sleep better, wake up satiated. Join the community, link in bio.

Gluconeogenesis is demand driven. Eating more protein won't kick you out of ketosis. And keto isn't a high-fat diet. Fast for a day and you're ketogenic with zero fat consumed. Outdated thinking is everywhere in this space. skool.com/low-carb #KetoDiet #NutritionFacts

Lamb liver beats beef liver. Higher B vitamins, higher taurine, slightly less vitamin A. Still well above the RDA but in active retinol form. No problem when eaten as part of the whole animal. These are the conversations we're having every week. skool.com/low-carb
