Officiating wasn’t great today, but no excuse for the loss, The Wahs were clearly the better side. Our fundamentals were poor, errors hurt us, and we really missed the class KP, Brown & Sharpe bring. Defensively too soft… conceding untouched tries just isn’t good enough.

We completely squandered Kai Pearce-Paul’s talents at the Knights with 44 games and 3 tries. Now he goes to the Tigers and scores two tries on debut. I’m not mad or surprised, I knew he’d thrive in a different system. Some players just need the right environment to unlock them.

The fact Ben Kennedy ever played for Manly still haunts me to this day.

The Knights didn’t win a single trial match and looked great in Round 1. The Titans won both of theirs convincingly and now look awful. Let this be the last time you stress about trial footy.
