@catsdex Not sure lol I met my partner in college and told him about how much I like pokemon. He likes it but it’s not his hyperfixation like it is mine. He played Sun and moon with me when they came out and before that played the TCG in black and white era before we met. I just got lucky

@snackyboy I am trying my best but I fear I am not into it. I think it’s cute but waiting real time and the agonizing slowness really doesn’t do well with my executive dysfunction and my issue with transitioning between tasks. I want to get immersed but the whole game brings me out of that

@peachyalo I’ve also have been not really in the community. Trying to limit my social media time and doing catch’em all runs in my games. But as someone who has some health issues (undiagnosed because healthcare system sucks) I understand how hard it can be. Take care of yourself diva ❤️

I get depressed thinking about how I’m no longer part of the shiny hunting community or let alone Pokémon. I love it so much. I just haven’t been present. It feels like I’m only looking into what could’ve been.

@chromatican I sing paparazzi like the 2009 vmas. It’s my favorite arrangement of it. Also when she lost her voice last year and did that piano version of vanish into you and had to make a new arrangement for the lower notes just realllly hits different

@Tales_of_Taylor I have played through these games so many times growing up from when I was 12 to now. And although they aren’t hoenn it’s still some big nostalgia. Some of my first shiny hunts are from these games. It really feels like the wonder pokemon gave me as a kid is back

this sounds stupid bc im a pokémon fan but im genuinely excited to play through FRLG for like the 6th time bc the community will all be playing together, and with a lot of newcomers too. this is imo the best way to experience Kanto! it’s exciting!!!

I don’t think anyone understands how excited I am for fire red and leaf green to come out. Like it’s all we ever wanted and dreamed of. Maybe more official ports will come and maybe this will help physical prices go down as well and the games will be more accessible to people
