The focus was on emphasising the importance of responsible sexual behaviour, rather than relying on PEP. With support from MPT, GCCWG have reached 5,057 young people with education & have succeeded in breaking down barriers that previously prevented them from seeking HIV testing.

A worrying trend among young people is the growing misuse of PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis), a medication used to prevent HIV after potential exposure. In Kenya the Charity Girl Child Counselling Women Group (GCCWG) recently completed a project focused on young adults aged 15–22

Bali Children's Project (BCP) is a relatively new charity to the MPT. Through multiple programmes delivered by a team of Indonesian women, tens of thousands of students are being offered the opportunity to escape illness and poverty through vital health education.

The Friends of H.O.P.E. is a charity working in the Nilgiri Hills of S. India. The MPT has supported them since 2002, and they have done incredible work to improve the lives of the local community.
